Elle Dusek is an undergraduate BMS student participating in research under Dr. Richard Slayden. She was first interested in research in the microbiology field after taking MIP 302, General Microbiology Lab, a class she fell in love with. Her research focuses on antibiotic efficacy and potency when dosed in combination in various conditions. Outside of the lab, she works as a CNA at Pathways Hospice and is a part of various clubs at CSU. Her long-term career goals include attending medical school, to specialize in either radiology or surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses and spending quality time with her friends and family.
