About Brooke

After graduating from Florida State University with a major in Biochemistry in 2015, Brooke moved to Boston and worked in a biotech start-up researching drug delivery platforms. She became interested in comparative medicine, particularly pathology, and decided to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine at Michigan State University. Upon graduation in 2024, she moved to Fort Collins, CO with her rabbit (Lilith), two cats (Pandora and Sedna) and dog (Luna) to begin the combined anatomic pathology residency and PhD program. Driven by a desire to advance veterinary and human medicine, Brooke envisions contributing to groundbreaking research and innovative healthcare solutions in both terrestrial and space environments. In her spare time, Brooke enjoys exploring outdoor spots and trails with her dog, watching Star Trek, and playing pinball.
