About Jason

Dr. Bleedorn is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who joined the CSU team in 2022. Previously he was on faculty at the University of Wisconsin for 10 years prior to moving to Colorado with his wife Amanda and their dog Cova and cats Melvin and Fig. He is passionate about providing high-quality orthopedic care for pets through innovations in research and technology, as well as training veterinarians, surgery residents, and students. He is an avid mountain biker, rock climber, and outdoor enthusiast, along with his family. He completed his internship at Purdue University and Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center in 2006 and his residency at University of Wisconsin in 2010. In addition to teaching at CSU, Dr. Bleedorn is an instructor for Arthrex, AOVet, and IMEX continuing education.
