All equine services appointments will take place at the new Johnson Family Equine Hospital. When you arrive at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital located at 300 W. Drake Rd., follow signs north toward the equine hospital.
We provide specialized diagnostic and therapeutic expertise for the diagnosis and treatment of medical problems in horses. Our facilities are specially designed to accommodate all horses, from elective to high-risk infectious cases, with appropriate hospital protocols to ensure safety of all of our patients.

- Hyperkalemic periodic paralysis

- EMG capabilities for muscle and/or nervous system disease
- Endoscopy of the upper airway, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract
- Neonatal intensive care units
- Radiographic imaging of the abdomen and thorax including myelogram capabilities, ultrasound, and computed tomography (CT) scan for head and neck problems
