The Master of Science in biomedical sciences is geared toward motivated students who can think critically and conduct research. The two- to three-year program includes flexible, customized course selection and a meaningful and original research project that culminates in writing and defending a thesis.
Biomedical Sciences
The Department of Biomedical Sciences offers undergraduate through postdoctoral education guided by dedicated faculty who pursue translational research in the disciplines of anatomy, neurobiology, pharmacology, physiology, and reproductive biology. More than 30 specialty laboratories allow students to gain hands-on learning experiences tailored to individualized interests and goals in human and animal health and disease.

Application Information and Deadlines
Interested applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be considered for this program. The Graduate Record Exam is required.
Interested applicants should contact faculty with shared research interests regarding the possibility of working with them as a graduate student. Students must secure the support of a faculty advisor to be admitted to this program.

Fall-term applicants will be notified via email by the end of May with an admission decision; spring-term applicants by the end of October; summer-term applicants by the end of February.
