About McKenzie

McKenzie is a first year PhD student currently completing lab rotations. She graduated from CSU with her bachelor's degree in microbiology in the fall of 2020. During this time, she completed her undergraduate honors thesis project in Dr. John Belisle's lab studying diguanylate cyclase genes in Mycobacterium haemophilum—the closest cousin to Mycobacterium leprae that can be cultured in vitro.
