Dr Korchia is a board certified veterinary clinical pathologist with a special interest for laboratory quality management and endocrinology. His publications and ongoing publication projects focus on laboratory quality guidelines, laboratory quality teaching, reference intervals, and method validation. He also has a special interest for hematology and bone marrow assessment. Dr Korchia is actively involved in the scientific community, and currently serves as Chair of the Quality Assurance and Laboratory Standards (QALS) Committee of the American Society of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ASVCP), as well as as Clinical Pathology Section Editor of the Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation (JVDI).
