About Peegd Wende

Augustine is a current MPH student with a concentration in Epidemiology. She is a Research Assistant in the Center for Vector-Borne Infectious Diseases in Dr. Foy Laboratory. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in Public Health Microbiology with a Minor in chemistry and a Certificate in Molecular Diagnostics. She is a McNair Fellow. She completed some data analyzing at UWM looking at diabetes retinopathy prevalence on southwestern Milwaukee. As part of Dr. Foy’s lab, she helps manage the data collected in the trial and creates reports and graphs from the data that will help in the interpretations of the data and management of the data-collecting staff in the field.
