Ashley KnightMicrobiology, Immunology, and Pathology
Ashley is currently a second-year student at Colorado State University in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology. She plans to graduate with her BS in the spring of 2022. She has been working in Foy lab since her second semester at CSU and has been primarily working on a subset of Megan Miller's involving defective interfering particles (DIPs) and mosquito care. In mosquito care she has taken care of Anopheles gambiae, Aedes aegypti, and Culex from the point that they are laid as eggs to death. She has been trained in BSL 1, BSL 2, and in the process of getting trained for BSL 3.
