Madelein Lopez

Madelein oversees the digital communications functions in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology, including external website design and accessibility, internal website functionality, and social media content management. She also designs and publishes other digital communications for the department such as the Beyond the Microscope newsletters and parts of the Weekly Department Headlines. Madelein also supervises the department web intern and has developed processes to track and promote departmental publications and news. Madelein studies and implements strategies to enhance the department’s digital communication efforts with the goal of promoting the scientific excellence in the department.
