About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Butler, DVM, is a veterinary anatomic pathology resident sponsored by the Morris Animal Foundation in support of the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study. She helps coordinate histopathology for the study, overseeing biopsy and necropsy adjudication. In addition, she is working under the mentorship of Dr. Kelly Hughes to develop RNA-based methods to more easily differentiate canine cutaneous round cell neoplasms. Her primary professional interests are in diagnostics and education as the cornerstones of advancing both clinical care and research.
