About Diana
Diana is currently a PhD student in the Telling Lab. She left her native Venezuela in 2009 to join the laboratory of prion biology expert, late Dr. Richard Bessen. After years working on academic labs and industry, she joined the CMB program at CSU in the fall of 2021, receiving a qCMB T32 NIH training fellowship to continue pursuing her passion for prion biology. Diana loves reading fantasy, sci-fi and philosophy, road trips, mountains and visiting her family back in South America.
