About Rebecca

Rebecca Staudenmaier graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Life Science from Kansas State University in 1993. After graduating, she worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant for a year before going back to Kansas State U. for graduate school. While there she earned her Master of Science in Biology, focusing on Developmental Biology and Space Biology. She then moved to Tennessee where she worked as a Research Assistant at Oak Ridge National Lab on the Human Genome project, and then as a Pathology Assistant in Knoxville. After moving to Colorado, she started her teaching career by teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Human Anatomy and Physiology at Mesa State College. Following the birth of her third child, she stayed home for a few years before returning to the classroom, this time teaching art and science to middle and high school students. She is currently a Project Manager, Research Associate, and Lab Manager for the Dobos lab as well as a self employed Ceramic Artist.
