About Brittany

Dr. Middlebrooks was raised in Greenville, SC and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in animal science from Clemson University. After working in Atlanta as a veterinary technician she completed veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. While at Ross University she also earned her master’s degree. Her master’s research focused on the efficacy and safety of immunocontraceptives in Caribbean donkeys. Following her time on island, she completed her clinical year at the University of California, Davis where she then stayed on for an equine field service internship. Dr. Middlebrooks started her residency at the Equine Reproduction Laboratory in July of 2021. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, trying new food, running, horseback riding, and spending time outside with her husband and their two dogs.
