Maggie Priore

Maggie is a first year PhD student with research interests spanning virology, disease ecology, wildlife health, spillover risk, and outbreak investigation. This year she will be completing lab rotations where she will be further exploring the research opportunities offered in the MIP department. Maggie graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and two minors in Microbiology and Global Politics. She is passionate about wildlife conservation, infectious disease research, and supporting other women in STEM. While not in lab, she enjoys hiking and spending time with family.
