About Hannah

Hannah Terhaar is from Minnesota and completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota, Morris, where she played for the women’s varsity volleyball team. Afterward, she went to veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Her interest in ophthalmology began during her undergraduate degree working for a private practice ophthalmologist in Minnesota. In pursuit of an ophthalmology residency, she completed a small animal rotating internship at Iowa State University, before accepting an ophthalmology residency at Colorado State University. In her free time, she enjoys being active (running, hiking, etc.), playing volleyball, and spending time with family.
