About Brittany

I am from Huntington Beach, California. I have always had a passion for animals and volunteered at various shelters and wildlife organizations. I didn’t know I wanted to be a veterinarian until I was in college. I was already on track to go into medicine and choosing veterinary medicine just made sense for me. I completed my undergraduate degree at UCLA and my DVM at St. George’s University, School of Veterinary Medicine. Anesthesia is the coolest specialty in veterinary medicine! Helping to stabilize critical patients and ensure that they are comfortable and doing well during a procedure is a challenge but is extremely rewarding. I also enjoy understanding pathophysiology and how to create an appropriate protocol based on a patient’s comorbidities. Each day I look forward to new challenges and opportunities to learn. I also feel that I have the most supportive group of people to work with and learn from and it makes going to work a pleasure each day. In my free time I am very active. I enjoy going to the gym, cyclebar, hiking, and walking my boxer mix named Rory. She is a rescue and is the sweetest dog in the whole world. I also have a perfect two-year-old kitty named Marie.
