I’m also a crazy horse person but limit my riding to easy trails these days. Cooking and procrasti-baking are also on the list of favored activities, and I’m super excited to explore all the foodie options NoCo has to offer! I completed undergrad and an MS at the University of Virginia, where I fell in love with pathology in the context of translational research. I then moved to the state archrival, Virginia Tech, for their dual DVM/PhD program. Luckily, I’m more of a fan of hockey than football, so I avoided the worst of the rivalries! Besides pathology, my research interests and background center around cell signaling, inflammation and cancer biology, and I’m passionate about systems of higher education and pedagogy.
