Hayley SullivanPostdoctoral Fellow Clinical Sciences
Dr. Hayley Sullivan grew up in the South Bay of Los Angeles, California where she developed a love of horses at a young age through the United States Pony Clubs Inc. Dr. Sullivan attended the University of California, Davis where she was a member of the three-day eventing team and studied animal science with an emphasis in equine science. After graduating from UC Davis, Dr. Sullivan moved back to Southern California to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. She graduated with her DVM in 2018 before moving to Ocala, FL to complete a one-year internship at Peterson & Smith Equine Hospital. In Ocala, she most enjoyed working on thoroughbred racehorses and orthopedic cases. In 2019 she joined the equine sports medicine and rehabilitation team at Colorado State University to start her residency. She is very grateful to be gaining specialized skills for taking care of the equine athlete. In her free time, Dr. Sullivan enjoys three-day eventing, skiing, and live music.
