Post Doctoral - Clinical Pathology Resident
Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology
About Christina
I am originally from the sunny state of Arizona where I began my veterinary journey as a Certified Veterinary Technician. Soon after graduating and becoming certified I knew I wanted to pursue a higher level of understanding (veterinary school and then clinical pathology). During undergrad I taught in a Veterinary Technology program, which reaffirmed my interest in teaching and sharing my excitement for veterinary medicine. I attended veterinary school at the University of Florida and sought after opportunities to learn within the anatomic and clinical pathology departments. I am so honored to have been welcomed into the CSU residency and PhD program. I look forward to the opportunity to grow and learn. My research interests include cancer biology/immunology and regenerative medicine. In my free time I enjoy nature watching, cooking, crafts, gardening, binge watching television shows, and spending time with my loved ones (furry and not)!
