Burton Karger holds a master’s degree in Microbiology from CSU. He is responsible for the day to day activities and logistics associated with the Henao-Tamayo laboratory experiments, working in both BSL2 and BSL3 biosafety settings. Additionally, he conducts the microscopy analysis of histological and liquid samples obtained from in vivo experiments, which are used for analysis of bacterial burden and disease progression. He is currently studying the R programming language and Linux OS for new applications in a data intensive laboratory setting.
