About Ashley

Ashley is a Research Associate in the Foy lab at the Center for Vector-Borne Infectious Diseases. She earned her B.S. in Biology (2015) and her M.S. in Microbiology (2020) here at CSU. For her thesis project she studied insecticide resistance levels and possible associated mechanisms in Aedes albopictus mosquitoes from Southern Mexico. As a member of the Foy lab, Ashley wants to apply her expertise and knowledge in vector biology to find how to improve mosquito control methods and reduce transmission of mosquito-borne diseases among communities.
