Katie DoyonVeterinary Technician Veterinary Teaching Hospital
Katie Doyon was born and raised in Colorado and now lives in the Fort Collins foothills with her family. She has worked for CSU in the critical care unit for seven years as one of the supervisors. She prides herself on being a veterinary technician specialist (VTS) in critical care medicine for the past 15 years. Katie's special interests are focused in mechanical ventilation, polytrauma, and bleeding disorders. She has worked in specialty and academia practices and was an adjunct instructor at Front Range Community College for the veterinary technician program for five years. She is currently pursuing her second degree in operational business management and one day hopes to own and operate a not-for-profit bully breed rescue organization. In her spare time, Katie loves to rescue all those that have smooched faces but especially enjoys French bulldogs and Pit Bulls. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching her sons play Rugby and football. When Katie is not at CSU in the critical care unit caring for patients, she can be found spending time in the Rocky Mountains or taking spontaneous road trips with her family.
