Lisa Hunter, LSW, manages the administrative side of the Argus Institute through her part-time position as argus liaison and Path of Honor administrator. Additionally, Lisa serves as a social worker for the Argus Institute on an as-need basis, providing on-site support, resources and education for clients and staff as well as community clients referred to Argus Institute’s support services. This includes quality-of-life conversations, end-of-life issues, brief crisis intervention and grief support. During undergraduate and graduate studies, Lisa interned with the Argus Institute. After receiving her master’s degree in social work from Colorado State University, Lisa worked in child protection with The Jacob Center, as a case manager for Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and as a co-author for Veterinary Team Brief, covering veterinary communication. A Colorado native, Lisa lives in Fort Collins with her husband, children, dogs, chickens and two mischievous rabbits.
