Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience Concentration
The cognitive and behavioral neuroscience concentration focuses on neural systems that control behavior.
Integrate an understanding of neuroanatomy with the mechanisms of sensation/perception and learning/memory, generally applied to human behavior.
Focus on the functional level of neuronal systems and networks. This concentration differs from classical psychology by providing a physical science-based understanding of behavior and neurological disorders.

A required capstone thesis allows you to work closely with faculty to develop your intellectual interests, and opportunities for laboratory and literature-based research with a faculty mentor. The resulting thesis is tangible evidence of critical thinking and writing skills for those seeking immediate employment or for advanced degrees in the life sciences, medicine, or human behavior.
