Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences Anatomical and Physiological Sciences Specialization [1-year]
The one-year master’s in anatomy and physiology is a non-thesis, coursework-intensive program. The program is designed to prepare students for professional programs (such as M.D., D.O., D.V.M., D.D.S. and P.A. programs) by offering upper-division and graduate-level courses in gross anatomy, physiology, cell biology and neurobiology. In addition to working as clinicians, our alumni find careers in biotechnology industries, biomedical research, and education.
Select from one of three tracks of study: human anatomy, animal anatomy or neurobiology. Regardless of track selection, students must complete 32 total credits, nearly half of which are electives to tailor the program to your needs. The program culminates with written comprehensive finals in each of the core courses.

Biomedical Sciences
The Department of Biomedical Sciences offers undergraduate through postdoctoral education guided by dedicated faculty who pursue translational research in the disciplines of anatomy, neurobiology, pharmacology, physiology, and reproductive biology. More than 30 specialty laboratories allow students to gain hands-on learning experiences tailored to individualized interests and goals in human and animal health and disease.

- Apply through the Post Baccalaureate Centralized Application service. (Cost: $200)
