About Elizabeth

Elizabeth began her career in veterinary medicine during high school after receiving a scholarship to Front Range Community College in 2012. Initially pursuing a path toward becoming a veterinarian, she discovered a passion for nursing care and chose to become a veterinary technician. After her studies, Elizabeth spent three years in emergency medicine before transitioning to neurology, where she honed her expertise in complex cases. After five years in private practice, she brought her experience and passion for animal care into the realm of research, joining the team at Colorado State University in 2022 to advance the field of brain research. As a veterinary technician supervisor, Elizabeth is dedicated to supporting innovative research and providing leadership to the team.
