About Amanda

Amanda was born and raised in southern Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Arts in anthropology from Louisiana State University. She then worked briefly in social services in Vermont and New York before returning to school to earn her AAS in veterinary technology science. In 2011, she graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Delhi. Shortly after graduation, she began working at a veterinary specialty clinic in Decatur, GA. Six years later, Amanda and her husband decided to follow their dream of living out West and moved to Fort Collins, and in 2018, she began working with CSU’s orthopedic medicine and mobility service. During her career, Amanda has presented continuing education programs for other veterinary technicians and veterinarians. She is the primary author of an article on radiography that was published in the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) journal in 2018. Amanda loves working with four-legged friends and their families and is proud to be part of the orthopedic medicine and mobility team!
