About Kimberly

Kim Lebsock graduated from CSU with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology. During her studies, Kim started working in the Preclinical Surgical Research Laboratory in 2001 as a student assistant. In 2002 Kim was hired on as full-time staff member, as a research associate under Dr. Simon Turner. Kim has worked with many researchers at CSU as well as external collaborators that have utilized the knowledge that the PSRL provides on large animal models developed for sheep and goats. Kim has advanced in her career from a Research Associate I to Research Associate IV and has transitioned over the years from everyday animal husbandry manager to operative room technician, and currently acts as a study coordinator and supervisor over the surgical staff. Kim is also responsible for finding and hiring student hourlies to help provide additional support to the staff currently employed within the PSRL.
