About Janelle

Dr. Janelle Scott’s interest in veterinary medicine was instilled at a young age; she spent as much time as she could at her father’s mixed-animal veterinary practice in southwest Kansas. Her desire to play college soccer and study microbiology took her to Arlington, VA for her undergraduate studies (Marymount University 2008). She returned to Kansas State University and completed her DVM in 2012. After a few years of mixed-animal practice in rural Nebraska, Janelle joined CSU’s community practice service in 2015. She completed a master's degree in clinical sciences at CSU in 2019. Janelle enjoys working with students and helping them become excellent veterinarians. Some of her clinical interests include parasites and public health. Her cat crew consists of Salem and Sabrina. In her time off clinics, Janelle relishes outdoor activities, especially soccer, backpacking, hiking, and snowshoeing.
