Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences Assisted Reproductive Technologies Specialization [1-year]
The master’s in assisted reproductive technology is a one-year, non-thesis program that culminates in an internship or research project and prepares students for careers in human and animal embryology as well as professional and graduate school. Students receive in-depth lab training in oocyte collection, in vitro fertilization, cryopreservation, and more. Students are required to complete a research project or internship prior to graduation.
Biomedical Sciences
The Department of Biomedical Sciences offers undergraduate through postdoctoral education guided by dedicated faculty who pursue translational research in the disciplines of anatomy, neurobiology, pharmacology, physiology, and reproductive biology. More than 30 specialty laboratories allow students to gain hands-on learning experiences tailored to individualized interests and goals in human and animal health and disease.

Research Opportunities
Students are expected to complete a project in place of a comprehensive exam, which may be in the context of an off-campus internship or research within the laboratory of a faculty member.

The application deadline for general admission is April 1. If spaces are still available after this date, additional applications will be reviewed.

Because this is a fall-start only program, if you select a spring start your application will not be reviewed. Applicants who submit all materials by April 1 will be notified via email by the end of May with an admission decision.
